Making Fire Cider with Nicole Cormier, RD, LDN

January 7, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Please JOIN Nicole Cormier, RD, LDN for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make your own fresh FIRE CIDER with garlic, ginger, turmeric, & more.  Nicole will guide you in making your own batch, provide a variety of recipes, and teach about the history & health benefits of this immune-building herbal tonic.  She’ll also recommend local sources to help you gather the most potent ingredients.

This workshop is first in Sustainable CAPE’s Harvest Highlight Series.  Located at the Truro Library every first and/or fourth Saturday from January-June 2023, look out for an entire series of workshops with local farmers, chefs, nutritionists and herbalists who will highlight a winter crop growing locally and give a creative educational class and demonstration.  To see how the Harvest Highlight Series connects with Sustainable CAPE’s Harvester Highlight Program, visit https://sustainablecape.org/programs/the-sustainable-cape-farmers-market-coalition/harvesterhighlights2022

Supported in part with funding from the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture Resources
