A photographic journey with Kevin Doyle and Karen Rinaldo. In 2022 historic research brought Kevin and Karen on a Holland journey–walking in the footsteps of the Pilgrims. This photographic experience takes you through the timeless canals, row houses, and buildings that the Pilgrims saw daily.

With an additional presentation — The Process: The Commissioned Painting of the First Thanksgiving, 1621 — Artist Karen Rinaldo discusses her process of research and step-by-step development that turned a blank canvas into a nationally recognized and historically accurate representation of the 53 Mayflower survivors and the 90 Wampanoags that gathered after the Pilgrims first harvest in 1621.

Karen Rinaldo is a visual historian whose reputation has been built around historical events.  Rinaldo’s commissioned painting has been seen across the country in the Scholastic Book series Teaching American History Through Art Masterpieces.

Kevin Doyle, a retired combat veteran, Naval War College graduate, and Heraldry Scholar. Doyle enjoys writing about historical places and events that are unique moments in American history, specializing in the Revolutionary War.
