The Ethnobotany of the Ottawas and the Kofáns

The Friends of the Truro Library presents botanist HOMER VIRGIL PINKLEY. Dr. Pinkley will treat us to an inside look at the ethnobotany of the Ottawas of the Great Lakes and the Kofáns from the Head Waters of the Amazon, discussing their nutrition, clothing, shelter, poisons, medicines, and the use of Ayahuasca. Refreshments at 6:00 p.m., program starts at 6:30 p.m.
