Shark Tagging and Tracking with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy

The focus of this program is on technology and current tagging that is taking place off Cape Cod. Students learn about what a shark workup is and what research practices are used. Information is provided on how tags are a part of a communication system and how the data is transferred to the researchers. Students will also learn about what samples can be taken from a shark and what researchers are learning from those samples.
