Why?
Local poet Hilde Oleson’s new book of poetry is a testament to learning, to the “unknowable,” and to the perspective ninety-plus years can give one on all of the above–whether or not she has managed to “grow up.”  A former social worker and consummate caregiver, Hilde’s poems are filled with wonder and practicality at once, her seemingly simple observations layered with meaning.
