Kyle and Maria Spraker Trumpet and Harp Duo

Kyle Spraker is the Principal Trumpet of the Cape Symphony, a devoted Teaching Artist at the Cape Conservatory, and now the Director of Community Outreach and Education for both organizations. As a musician, Kyle has performed with orchestras, chamber ensembles, big bands, rock bands, recording sessions for movies & video games, and is frequently featured as a soloist (often with Cape Symphony). As Director of Education, Kyle designs and organizes free educational programs for the Cape Cod community that aim to inspire joy and a lifelong of love of music and learning. Kyle earned a Master’s Degree from the New England Conservatory (2010), where he focused on performance, studying with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra: Benjamin Wright and Steven Emery.
A native of Harvard, Massachusetts, Maria Rindenello-Spraker is an active chamber musician, orchestral harpist, and soloist who has been performing professionally since she was 11 years old. Maria received both her Master and Bachelor of Music degrees from the New England Conservatory in Boston, where she studied with Dr. Ann Hobson Pilot (Boston Symphony Orchestra Principal Harp for 30+ years). Early in her career, Maria was a prize winner in the advanced division of the American Harp Society’s 18th National Competition. Since moving to the Cape, Maria has performed with local ensembles and venues including the Outer Cape Chorale and the Heritage Museum & Gardens in Sandwich.
