Christopher Isherwood, avowed queer author and devotee of Vedanta, best known for his character Sally Bowles, reflects on his life as an outsider–in his native England, in Berlin between the wars, and in postwar America.

About John Dennis Anderson

John Dennis Anderson, a resident of Wellfleet, is a professor emeritus at Emerson College in Boston. A native of Waco, Texas, he has performed nationally in interactive solo performances as authors Henry James, William Faulkner, Robert Frost, Ernest Hemingway, and others. He has performed on Cape Cod in You Can’t Take It With You and The Laramie Project at the Provincetown Theater and in readings in Provincetown, Wellfleet, Orleans, and Barnstable.

The Truro Playwright Collective is a group of established, local playwrights who present staged readings of their full-length works once a month from October through March.
