Given the importance of moving towards full electrification, this session will provide an overview of the history of the grid, how the Act in 1998 changed the market, where your money goes when you pay your bill, and what has been the progress twoard renewable energy so far. This is an opportunity to bring your questions and discussion to the table with representatives from Cape Light Compact Maggie Downey, Executive Director and Mariel Marchand, Power Supply Planner.

About The Truro Climate Action Committee: The Truro Climate Action Committee primary focus is to investigate, study, and make recommendations to the Select Board on minimizing the Town’s carbon footprint and minimizing the vulnerabilities to the consequences of climate change.
