September 21 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
With Dan Winslow
In today’s world, it seems like everyone is always arguing. From politics to social media, it can be hard to have a civil disagreement without things getting heated.
But civility is essential for a healthy democracy. It allows us to have productive conversations about important issues, even when we disagree. This program will explore the importance of civil disagreement and offer tips on how to disagree without being disagreeable.
Dan Winslow joined the New England Legal Foundation in October 2021 after serving as a law partner or counsel in small and large law firms, as Chief Legal Officer of a publicly-traded software support company, and at a senior level in all three branches of state government.
