Lunches will be provided for children up to 18 years old by Food for Kids, a Summer Food Service Program funded through Project Bread in Boston. This open, drop-in program offers a nutritious meal, fresh-packed in the morning by the primary sponsor in our area, The Church of the Holy Spirit, and distributed to sites from Chatham to Provincetown. The Summer Food Service Program is a federally funded child nutrition program whose goal is to feed children and teens ages 1-18 during the summer months when they do not have access to school meals. They will be offered outside on the back deck when weather permits, and are preceded at 10:30 a.m by our StoryTime program.
