Friends of the Truro Library Spring Trip to Providence
The Roger Williams Park Botanical Center & a Visit to Federal Hill
Wednesday, April 25, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Join us on an excursion to the Botanical Center at Roger Williams Park in Providence, RI.  The Center is the largest public indoor display gardens in New England, and includes two main greenhouses (The Conservatory and the Mediterranean Room), three smaller greenhouses, and an outdoor garden with over 150 different species and cultivars of plants; it is now hosting “Fairy Garden Days,” featuring neighborhoods and villages made from moss, shells, twigs, and more.  After the gardens, the bus will take us up to Federal Hill where we can enjoy a leisurely lunch. Choose from pick-up locations in Truro, Wellfleet, and Orleans.  $60 includes transportation, admission, and water—everything except the lunch!  Money paid in advance; reserve your spot by calling or by stopping by the Truro Library.
