♦ Good Neighbor | Truro
Many individuals and organizations operated by Truro-ites have joined together to help those in Truro who cannot or should not leave their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we have started an initiative that offers free pickup and delivery of mail and of prepared, packaged and pre-paid food and other essential items on weekdays and at other times by special request. Folks who need this help can make requests online, by email and phone. Volunteers can register online.

♦ Apply for Emergency Childcare for children of “Essential Workers” as defined by the Governor in his Order.
♦ Comcast is offering internet for $9.95/mo for low-income households. They also have expanded their internet speed for free and opened up hotspots around town without requiring a password.

♦ Cape Cod & Islands Major Crisis Relief Fund providing humanitarian aid to local individuals and families.
♦ Navigator Program (Through OCHS) The Outer Cape Health Services Community Resource Navigator (CRN) program is here to help Wellfleet residents with unmet medical, behavioral health, and human service needs.

For residents that may be isolated and need to talk to someone during this COVID-19 isolation/stay at home period. The Mass Department of Public Health houses a “COVID-19 Response Command Center” and something called “Call 2 Talk.” Call 2 Talk offers mental health/emotional support, and suicide prevention services for 24/7 confidential crisis support.
