“Take Heart” is a non-traditional love story, told through a series of images captured during the pandemic by artists Rachael Sokolowski and Suz Karchmer.  Love is conveyed through public displays of handmade hearts crafted from everyday materials.  These images embody messages of compassion, encouragement, and  even outrage against injustice during a time defined by crisis, conflict, and isolation.  They also serve as a powerful testament to the resilience and shared humanity that emerged amidst the challenges. “Take Heart” invites us to embrace and carry forward the enduring spirit of compassion and hope as we navigate an uncertain future.
