Museum Passes

The Library provides the following museum passes directly to our patrons and can assist patrons in obtaining passes to many other institutions as well.

Please note that the procedures and discounts are subject to change. Call or email the library at 508-487-1125 during open hours or email for more information on how to use our passes or for assistance in obtaining other passes not listed below.

CAPE COD

Cape Cod Museum of Fine Art

  • Admits 2 people free of charge
  • Must pick up and return a physical pass at Truro Library

Highland Light

  • Admits up to 4 people free of charge fro a tour and climb to the top of the lighthouse.
  • Must pick up and return a physical pass at Truro Library

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

  • Admits up to 6 people free of charge
  • Must pick up and return a physical pass at Truro Library

BOSTON

Museum of Fine Arts

  • Admits up to 2 Adults and 4 Children for $10 each:
  • The Library provides a list of instructions and coupon code that patrons can use to purchase reduced-price tickets online. You do not need to come to the Library in person to pick up this pass.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

  • Admits up to 4 people for $5 each
  • The Library provides a list of instructions and coupon code that patrons can use to purchase reduced-price tickets online. You do not need to come to the Library in person to pick up this pass.

Throughout the state of Massachusetts

Parks Pass- through the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR)

  • Free Parking at many Massachusetts parks. Call each park for more information.
  • Patron picks up pass which must be returned, patron must have MA license plates
  • Parks covered by Parks Pass

Individuals receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,000 museums throughout the United States, including several on Cape Cod, simply by presenting their SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card and/or photo ID. Please check this list to see if a museum participates in this program.
