Genealogy

The Library has a small collection of basic books and reference materials on genealogy for the researcher. In addition, we have a number of reference resources specific to the early settlers of Truro and their families. Researchers are welcome to use these materials in the Library. An index to the Town cemeteries is available online. Early Vital Records of many Massachusetts towns are available as compilations on the Mayflower descendants, early marriage records, Truro Annual Town Reports dating from 1894, and various local histories.

If you would like to reserve the Cobb Room for Genealogical research, please call the Library at 508-487-1125 to make an appointment.
