The Truro Public Library Mock Caldecott 2018

Join us for our fourth Annual Mock Caldecott!

Assisted by 2015 Caldecott Committee member and local resident Barbara Klipper, we are pleased to present our fourth Annual Mock Caldecott. Truro Library patrons and Truro Central School students awarded the 2017 Truro Library Mock Caldecott medal to The Night Gardener, by Terry Fan and Eric Fan, and published by Schuster Books for Young Readers.  Our Annual Mock Caldecott offers six books to choose from, and provides “points to consider” when making your selection. On November 9, we will have multiple copies of the books available to check out along with this year’s ballots. Be part of this year’s “Committee” by voting! In 2016, we chose the same book as the official Caldecott Committee! You can pick up a ballot at the Library or download a ballot here. You can also follow national mock Caldecott results at the mock elections blog by the Association for Library Service to Children. Have fun!
