The Truro Public Library Mock Caldecott 2017

Join us for our third Annual Mock Caldecott!

Assisted by 2015 Caldecott Committee member and local resident Barbara Klipper, we are pleased to present our third Annual Mock Caldecott. Truro Library patrons and Truro Central School students awarded the 2106 Truro Library Mock Caldecott medal to Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World’s Most Famous Bear, illustrated by  Sophie Blackall, written by Lindsay Mattick and published by Little, Brown and Company, an division of Hachette Book Group, Inc.  Our Annual Mock Caldecott offers six books to choose from, and provides “points to consider” when making your selection. On December 9, we will have multiple copies of the books available to check out along with this year’s ballots. Be part of this year’s “Committee” by voting! Last year, we chose the same book as the official Caldecott Committee! You can pick up a ballot at the Library or download a ballot here. You can also follow national mock Caldecott results at the mock elections blog by the Association for Library Service to Children. Have fun!
