Truro Climate Action Committee – Humane Rodent Control

Humane Rodent Control with Stephanie Ellis, Executive Director of Wild Care, Inc.
Got mice? Stephanie will provide humane, long-term solutions for controlling or deterring rodent populations (rats and mice) in and around your home. Learn about the harmful secondary effects that anticoagulant rodenticides have on our wildlife, and the alternatives that are safer for wildlife, children and pets. Stephanie will discuss local and statewide efforts to curb rodenticide use, and ways you can help, beyond your backyard. Join her for this informative talk.
About Wild Care: Wild Care’s mission is to treat injured, ill and orphaned native wildlife for release, to prevent wildlife casualties through public education and live counseling, and to engage the community in conservation through volunteerism.

About The Truro Climate Action Committee: The Truro Climate Action Committee primary focus is to investigate, study, and make recommendations to the Select Board on minimizing the Town’s carbon footprint and minimizing the vulnerabilities to the consequences of climate change.
