Educational Workshop for Caregivers, Teachers, and children

Sing Me A Story is a workshop for children and caregivers facilitated by singer/songwriter, Emilia Dahlin. Learn how singing supports the whole child and the aquisi-tion of early literacy skills while having FUN! Research shows singing is essential to language development. It helps children learn new words and information, and strengthens their memory, attention, and phonological awareness. Singing together activates our brains, bodies, and hearts, and makes us healthier and happier!

Emilia has been singing and performing for over 20 years. She’s been the producer and host of The Kids Are Alright music series, a teaching artist for The Telling Room and 317 Maine Community Music Center’s Little Roots program, and offers her own singing and songwriting workshops to hundreds of music-lovers of all ages. www.emiliadahlin.com
