Volunteering

There are many ways to volunteer to support the library.  Helping with the book and bake sales or working on one of FOTL’s many committees is a great way to meet new people and to put your talents to good use. There are also many ways to volunteer within the library. Volunteers fill essential roles in our library: labeling and covering books and making other materials shelf-ready; repairing books and other materials; shelving books and other materials and reading shelves; watering the plants; assisting in the children’s room and with children’s programs; instructing in the use of the internet; making posters and announcements; even helping on the circulation desk.  Volunteering for the library is fun and benefits the entire community.
