INTERNET INSTRUCTION

One-on-one instruction in the use of the internet is offered on an as-needed basis.  Please contact the library to set up an appointment (508-487-1125). 

 

 

INTERNET ACCESS AT THE TRURO PUBLIC LIBRARY

Internet access is provided for member patrons free of charge from 9:30 a.m. until a 1/2 hour before closing.  A current CLAMS card is required and must be presented for access.   Patrons are required to sign up (first name or initials only) before sitting down at the computer.  You may sign up for no more than two (2) time slots per day. We do not accept phone reservations.

The library does not accept responsibility for the quality, accuracy or currecy of material accessed on the Internet.  Patrons are cautioned to use care.  Children under the age of 12 may not use the computers unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Patrons may not save anything to the hard drive of the computer.  This includes downloading off the Internet.  Floppy disks are available at the circulation desk for 50 cents each, CD's for 1 dollar each.

Patrons are responsible for all printing charges.  Black and white prints are 10 cents each. Please pay at circulation desk.

Computers will be turned off 15 minutes before closing.  Your cooperation is appreciated.
