Genealogy

The library has a small collection of basic books and reference materials on genealogy for the researcher.  In addition, we have a number of reference resources specific to the early settlers of Truro and their families; researchers are welcome to use these materials in the library.  An index to the Town cemeteries is available on-line. Early Vital Records of many of the towns in Massachusetts are available as are compilations of the Mayflower descendants, early marriage records, Truro annual town reports dating from 1894, and various local histories.
