There are many ways to help support your library.   We are always looking for additional assistance:

            Help with the planning of:           Special fund raising events
                                                                Musical performances
                                                                Presentations and lectures
                                                                Book signings
                                                                Special projects and programs

            Help the Friends and the library staff: 

                                                            Volunteering in the library
                                                            Staff the book sales
                                                            Publicity or posters
                                                            Telephoning
                                                            Decorating and hospitality
                                                            Teaching or presenting programs
                                                            Participating in book discussion

                                                                    groups
                                                            Serving on the Friends’ board

Ways to Give

Although the library’s operating budget comes from the Town of Truro, there are certain things which are not covered by that appropriation.   Funds gifted to the library and to the Friends are used to provide special programming for adults and youth, purchase special equipment and furnishings and enable new projects, services, and collections.  The Friends raise funds throughout the year through used book sales, bake sales, the sale of note cards and other specialty items, and an annual membership drive during the month of June.  Please make your check payable to the Friends of the Truro Library and mail it to FOTL, PO Box 357, North Truro MA 02652.

The Truro Library Endowment Fund was established in 1999 to provide financial stability in the event of future funding emergencies and to assure the continued excellence of our programs and services.  Consider making a gift in memory of a loved one or in gratitude for services rendered.  Donations may be made to the Truro Library Endowment Fund, PO Box 357, North Truro MA 02652.
