Denya LeVine and Julie Charland are Cape Cod favorites! Join us at the Truro Public Library for their Irish-themed, original set, including songs that may be new to you. Denya and Julie have been performing across the Cape together for years, bringing joyous energy and a love of world music to every show.
The locals call someone who moves to Cape Cod but was not born there a Washashore. In Texas, a young girl barrel-raced on Pleasant Valley Ranch and had never seen the ocean. So when Monica Rizzio crossed over the iconic bridges of Cape Cod in 2004, she instantly became the Washashore Cowgirl.
The former Tripping Lily front woman has left behind the acoustic, condenser mic style and has brought her East Texas roots up North. Rizzio is a founder and co-owner of the roots-based music school, West Bend Music, providing all-ages private instruction. In 2014 she founded and launched Vinegrass, a non-profit music production company, that raises money for scholarships, instruments, and grants through concerts and an annual roots-music festival.
“Elizabeth Schultze and Bo Ericsson have played many concerts all over the Cape since moving here in 1991. Schultze is a member of Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, and Ericsson is a former member. Ericsson, a native of Sweden, graduated from the Gothenborg Conservatory of Music and studied at the Swedish Radio School in Stockholm. Schultze is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, where she studied with internationally known violinist Andor Toth, and studied abroad with other renowned cellists.” -Cape Cod Times

Influenced by artists like Eva Cassidy, Bob Dylan, Laura Marling and Norah Jones “Featherbed Lane” showcases Jordan’s soulful voice and sensitive song-writing style. In January 2014, Jordan landed an invitation to perform at Boston Mayor Walsh’s Inaugural Gala helping to catalyze her breakout year as a young artist. A nomination for Limelight Music Awards’ 2016 Female Vocalist of the Year, Third Place overall in the Eventide Regional Songwriting Competition (ERSC) in 2016, Grand Prize winner of the ERSC in 2017, winner of the 2017 AFCC Fellowship for the Performing Arts and the anticipation of her next release have led to a recent spike in local publicity and an audience waiting for her to take off.

Michael Holt has toured North America and Europe twenty times and released ten albums of his music. He puts on a spontaneous, one-man variety show using multiple instruments, moods, and characters. He weaves covers of Debussy, Dylan, Dizzy Gillespie, and Fela Kuti in with Beatlesy pop songs on the guitar, original classical pieces on the piano, and Fellini-esque lounge music on the organ. His newest material is about the converging crises facing our world today, but he’s just as likely to put on a strange costume and sing a song that will make you laugh.
“Michael Holt writes an all-too-rare kind of music, in which sophistication is in the service of emotion. His personal, powerful songs are really smart, but you realize that only after you first experience them as intimate, direct, and deeply meaningful.” – David Garland, WNYC, America’s most-listened-to public radio station.
