Join us for a fascinating travelogue on Ethiopia, illustrated with Buddy Perkel’s captivating photographs of his trip in Orthodox year 2000 (2008 CE) to observe the Timkat Celebration (Epiphany) of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. You will also see and learn about the famous rock churches of Lalibela, the source of the Blue Nile, and the remote tribes of the Omo Valley region.

Buddy Perkel is a resident of Truro and, with his wife Marla, has traveled frequently to Africa since 1975. Long a serious camera hobbyist, he returned to his love of photography when digital capabilities opened a new world.
